Instrument Sales and Service, Inc. acquired by J2 Partners, July 31, 2008

J2 Partners, a private equity firm in Boulder, Colorado announced today that it has acquired Instrument Sales and Service, Inc. (ISS), a diversified manufacturing, re-manufacturing and distribution company offering turnkey supply chain solutions for the automotive and capital equipment industries with operations in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado in a leveraged buy-out transaction. The acquisition was financed with senior financing provided by Citibank.

“This transaction represents an important step in ISS’s long-term strategy, which will ultimately include expanding our high quality capabilities to new customers and segments.
